Thant Zaw Htike is a senior associate of the firm and a certified trademark agent of Myanmar with over 10 years of experience. He joined the firm in 2012 as an apprentice lawyer and assistant to senior partner Chit Swe where he gained significant experience in litigation, and he qualified as an advocate in 2018.
He majorly focuses on intellectual property law, real estate transactions and commercial matters. He regularly advises international and local clients on trademark registration, trademark rights enforcement, and brand protection in Myanmar and ASEAN countries.
Thant attended the WIPO summer school program on intellectual property rights at Bangkok University Thailand in 2013. Also, he obtained Yangon University’s Diploma of Intellectual Property Law and frequently participated in several international conferences on intellectual property rights.
