Today, 9th March 2023, the Myanmar intellectual property department (IPD) held an event regarding enforcing Trademark law 2019 at the UMFCCI building. IPD invited all trademark agents who completed mandatory trademark agent courses organized by IPD in recent months. During the event, Daw Seint Thandar Tun, Director of Myanmar Intellectual Property Department, confirmed that Trademark law 2019 would come into force from 1st April 2023. She added that IPD is preparing to announce the official fees to the public
sooner.
