KYAW MOE HTET
ADVOCATE, PARTNER
Kyaw Moe Htet serves as a partner and co-head of the international relations section at the firm, bringing a wealth of knowledge in intellectual property law, franchising, and commercial law. With over 15 years of experience, he is a certified trademark agent and co-founder of the U Nyunt Tin Associates office in Thailand.
He began his career at the firm in 2010 as an apprentice lawyer and assistant to senior partner Chit Swe. During that time, he gained substantial experience in diverse aspects of Myanmar law. He qualified as an advocate in 2018.
Kyaw specialises in intellectual property law and commercial law, regularly advising both local and international clients on matters related to trademark protection, enforcement, licensing in Myanmar, and trademark registration within ASEAN countries. Additionally, he provides counsel on corporate transactions, including incorporation, corporate and commercial contracts, franchising, and investment.
In 2011, he was honoured as a scholar by the Inter-Pacific Bar Association and contributed as a member of the Trademark Law drafting committee. A passionate advocate for raising awareness of trademark rights, he frequently shares his insights at international conferences and panel discussions.
