KYAW MOE HTET

Partner and co-head of the international relation section of the firm with comprehensive knowledge of intellectual property law, Franchising and commercial law.
Kyaw Moe Htet is a partner of the firm, co-founder of U Nyunt Tin Associates Thai land office and certified trademark agent with over 15 years of experience. He joined the firm in 2010 as an apprentice lawyer and assistant to senior partner Chit Swe where he gained considerable experience in a wide area of Myanmar laws, and in 2018 he qualified as an advocate.
Kyaw specialises in intellectual property law and commercial law. He regularly advises local and international clients on trademark protection, enforcement and licensing in Myanmar and trademark registration in ASEAN countries. He also counsels on corporate transactions, including incorporation, corporate and commercial contractual arrangement, franchising and investment .
He was the selected scholar of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association in 2011 and also participated as a member of the Trademark Law drafting committee. He is a strong advocate of raising awareness of trademark rights and frequently contributed his thoughts to several international conferences and penal discussions.
